Why SLIP
What Made Us Who We Are
The School Library Intervention Project (SLIP) was birthed out of the need to provide safe and conducive spaces for school pupils in African communities to access learning materials that will support literacy, numeracy, and digital skills.
The provision of support for school libraries is essential for the academic growth, learning, and literacy, and numeracy skills of students as effective school libraries are especially for enhancing students' reading and comprehension abilities and overall literacy.
This is why we are committed to strategically supporting the resuscitation of libraries in African schools.
